A really fine opal! Much better quality than one could hope to find in “the States” for a comparable price. And I live in Arizona, where we see quite a lot of fine opal. Not only did it have the red I was looking for, but when rolled it also shifts through the spectrum all the way down to that dark blue-green that absolutely says "Lightning Ridge". And when I say "dark", I'm only referring to the color shade. It's an incredibly bright stone.
After years of collecting I was still looking for an opal with a broad, full-face, red flash and now, thanks to Black Opal World, I have one! And if there's any doubt at all as to whether or not I'm a satisfied customer, I've already ordered a couple more!
