I am very satisfied with the 10.50 solid black opal that I recently purchased. Although the colors of the stone I received were softer and more muted than those shown in the photo displayed on the web site, the stone nevertheless displayed remarkable brilliance both in direct natural light and artificial light. The web site also did not mention the flatness of the stone, which was quickly noticed upon my inspection. I see frequent mention of low, medium and high domes when viewing the many stones that are displayed on the web site. Unless I'm mistaken, no such mention was made of the dome characteristic regarding the stone I purchased. Thanks to Miklos for his quick responses to my inquiries. I will continue to review his web sites for possible future purchases.
